Welcome to Civic Grove, a public interest consultancy dedicated to helping governments, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations deliver what policy promises. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Civic Grove.
“Client,” “you,” or “your” refers to the organization or individual engaging our services.
“Services” means the consulting, research, facilitation, digital tools, content, and related materials provided by Civic Grove.
2. Services provided
Civic Grove offers public interest consulting services, including, but not limited to:
Strategic planning
Stakeholder and community engagement
Program design and evaluation
Climate and housing policy support
Research, facilitation, and digital engagement tool development
All services are customized to client needs and delivered according to an agreed-upon scope of work.
3. Use of services
Clients agree to provide accurate, complete information necessary for the delivery of our services. You must not misuse our services or use them for unlawful activities.
4. Fees and payment
Fees will be detailed in a written proposal or agreement. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due within 30 days of invoice issuance. Late payments may be subject to interest or service suspension.
5. Intellectual property
All deliverables and materials created by Civic Grove remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for their internal purposes.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to protect all non-public and sensitive information shared during the engagement. This duty of confidentiality continues after the engagement ends, unless otherwise required by law.
7. Liability
Civic Grove is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid for services rendered under the specific engagement.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. The client is responsible for payment for all services delivered up to the date of termination.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts located within that jurisdiction.
